The Brief To (re)make MARCS the iconic modern Australian fashion brand.

The Brand Journey Mark Keighery founded MARCS in 1979 on a clean, modern and uncomplicated European style with a relaxed Australian spirit of grown-up cool. Together with the MARCS brand team we are working to breathe new life into the original brand characteristics, creating a visual brand territory that is nonchalant and timeless with a sharp new fashion edge - intelligent design for the fashion literate.

MARCS defines itself against the competition with a subtle and original design handwriting that’s all about pared down perfect pieces, worn with attitude. We have worked together with the MARCS team on every facet of the visual brand identity to express and articulate this unique emotional territory of ‘Sharp European style with an easy Australian attitude’ photographically, graphically, digitally and three dimensionally, by developing a visual territory, tone of voice and graphic handwriting that is uniquely MARCS.
